How long will my appointment take?

45 minutes to an hour

How long will my makeup last?

By using the correct products for your skin type you will have no problems with the longevity & wear; no matter what time the makeup application is. Most of my clients send me selfies wearing their full face out the next day and some even the next night! (in saying that I recommend washing your face at the end of the night please, your skin begs you 🤭)

What brands do you use?

MAC | Shiseido | MORPHE | Kosas | Hourglass | MECCA | Charlotte Tilbury; to name a few...

Hygiene & Before your appointment:

I ask that clients come with a fresh and cleansed face to your appointment so that we can achieve a flawless base!

Please notify me prior to an appointment if you have any allergies or skin conditions. I also need to be aware of any contagious infections such as cold sores, conjunctivitis etc. as I cannot perform makeup services under these conditions.

LASH EXTENSIONS

What does the process actually involve?

Lash extensions require a qualified technician to apply safely and correctly. An individual lash fan, most commonly made out of either mink or silk; is glued to a single natural lash using a strong, eye safe adhesive. As your natural lashes shed, the extensions will also grow out and refills are needed every 2 - 3 weeks depending on your lash cycle to maintain full & luscious lashes!

How long should I allow for a full set & refills?

A full set typically takes between 60 - 75 minutes. Standard 2 - 3 week refills should take 40 - 60 minutes.

Aftercare:

  • No getting your new lashes/refills wet until 24hrs after they have been applied!

  • It is recommended to stay out of any places with high humidity levels such as spas, saunas etc.

  • Cleanse your lashes atleast once a week to avoid dirt & makeup build up.

  • No oil based skin care/makeup etc is to be used around the eye area.

  • Brush your lashes once a day or after you've wet them - don’t over brush them.

  • Don’t pull at your extensions or attempt to remove them yourself - always get a professional to do so!

COSMETIC BROW TATTOO

What are cosmetically tattooed eyebrows?

“Permanent makeup” is the perfect option for anyone wanting to revive, enhance or alter their brows. I offer a variety of techniques to ensure you achieve whatever result you’re looking for; whether its a fluffier natural look, creating the appearance of thicker hair - or a bold, crisp brow that mimics as if you’d filled your brows with makeup on the daily.

A cosmetic tattoo is “permanent” in the sense that it will never completely disappear, however you’ll need to do yearly touch ups to up keep the colour, the tone & the overall look of the brow as perfected as when it was first applied. A cosmetic tattoo can also always be removed, either by using a saline removal method or laser removal.

What does the process actually involve?

Once you’ve booked an appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation email regarding all the pre - care info you need to know before you have your brows tattooed. This will include a note about the numbing cream you’ll need to purchase & apply 30 minutes prior to your appointment. When you arrive, you’ll fill out a consent form, we will measure & pre draw a shape. Once you’re happy with how everything looks, well begin tattooing! I will perform 2 - 3 “passes” over to achieve a full shape. You’ll then need to come back 6 weeks later to have a touch up. This session will reinforce the colour & we can make any minor adjustments if you wish to do so. After both initial sessions are complete, you’ll only have to return once a year to freshen up your brows to keep them looking perfect!

Does it hurt?

This process should be painless! Everyone’s pain threshold is slightly different, however this procedure is cosmetic & therefore there’s no reason for you to be worried about pain! Once you’ve applied the numbing cream 30 minutes prior to your appointment, you’ll be numb for first pass. In between each pass, another layer of numbing cream containing 2 different numbing agents & epinephrine will be applied - meaning everything will stay comfortable throughout!

What’s the difference between microblading & combo/ombre brows?

Microblading, also referred to as “feathering” - is achieved by using a small row of needles on a hand tool to create scratches on the skin’s surface, mimicking the shape of hair strokes . The result gives the appearance of a more natural looking brow & can add fullness without filling in a solid portion of the skin.

Combo brows as the name suggests are a combo of techniques; where the front of the brow is filled in with microblading & the tail of the brow is filled in with a full powder technique.

Ombre brows are achieved by using a full powder technique, making sure the front portion of the brow is slightly faded & softer in comparison to the rest of the brow. A full powder brow is achieved with a tattoo gun, specifically designed for cosmetic tattooing. The end result is more prominent than microblading and will appear as though you’ve completely filled in your brow using an eyeshadow or a brow pencil.
